Tap the glass on your Lock Screen. Watch it fill. Back to your day.

No app to open
Most hydration apps fail because logging water takes more effort than drinking it. Hydratica removes every step but one — tap the Lock Screen, and it's logged.
See it in action
Why it works
Most habits fail at the logging, not the doing.
Hydratica isn't trying to be a health platform. It's one glass, one tap, one less thing to think about — built for the days you're too busy to open an app at all.
How it works
Right from your Lock Screen — no unlocking, no app to launch.
A full-screen fill animation confirms it when you do open the app.
That's it. No forms, no numbers to type, nothing else to remember.
What's inside
Log a glass without ever opening the app.
A quiet daily count. No shame, no broken chains — miss a day and it just resets.
Ice Blue, Obsidian, Platinum, Dusty Rose, Sage, Sand — only one is blue.
Six alternate icons, one for every color theme.
NEWSet as many as you like — plus an optional streak reminder.
No account, no login, no ads. Your data never leaves your device.
Color themes
Every other water app is blue. Hydratica isn't — pick the wave color and matching app icon that actually feels like you.
Free download
The same wave, in all six colors — sized for your Lock Screen, free to download, no app required.
Pricing
No subscription — ever. That's the whole promise.
Add the widget
So you can tap + without unlocking. Takes about 20 seconds.

Hydratica is designed to work with minimal personal data. We collect only the information needed to operate the app, understand performance, and improve reliability. Apple requires developers to disclose the privacy practices of the app and any third-party code integrated into it, so this policy describes both our own data handling and the use of service providers such as PostHog.
Data stored on your device. Hydratica stores your habit data, streaks, and customization settings locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms, such as UserDefaults and App Group storage. This data remains on your device unless you delete the app or otherwise remove it. Because there's no account or cloud sync, each device keeps its own log.
Analytics and diagnostics. We may collect app usage data, performance data, and diagnostic information to help us understand crashes, feature performance, and app reliability. This information may be processed by third-party analytics and infrastructure providers, including PostHog, depending on how the app is configured. Apple requires that third-party data collection practices be disclosed accurately in App Store privacy information.
Purchase information. If you purchase lifetime access, transactions are handled through Apple's StoreKit system. We do not receive your payment card details. Depending on how StoreKit is used, we may receive limited purchase status information needed to unlock the app.
We use locally stored data to provide core app features, including habit tracking, streak management, and customization. We use analytics and diagnostic data to improve performance, fix bugs, understand feature usage, and maintain service stability. Apple's privacy disclosures require that any use of third-party SDKs for analytics or diagnostics be reflected in the app's privacy reporting.
We use trusted third-party service providers to support analytics, product improvement, and infrastructure monitoring. These providers may process app event data, performance data, and diagnostic information on our behalf. They are contractually restricted from using this data for unrelated purposes such as advertising unless we specifically state otherwise and disclose it in our Apple privacy reporting.
We do not use data for cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking, and we do not intentionally use advertising identifiers for ad targeting. If this changes, we will update this policy and any required Apple disclosures before collecting tracking data. Apple defines tracking specifically and requires permission when data is used to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
Data stored locally on your device remains there until you delete the app or manually remove it. Analytics and diagnostic data retained by our service providers is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law or contractual obligations.
Because your habit data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app will remove that local data from your device. If you want to request deletion of any analytics or account-related data processed by our service providers, contact us at the email below.
Hydratica is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
